Meet Ali Bullano, LCSW, E-RYT 500

If you’re searching for trauma therapy, EMDR, or somatic therapy in Denver or the greater Denver area, you’re in the right place.

I’m Ali Bullano, LCSW, E-RYT 500, a licensed clinical social worker, EMDR therapist, and trauma-informed yoga teacher offering body-centered psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, complex trauma, and nervous system dysregulation.

My approach blends EMDR therapy, somatic therapy, parts work, and mindfulness-based practices to help you heal at the root, not just manage symptoms.

When you work with me, you can expect therapy that goes beyond just talking. My work is holistic — which means we’ll pay attention not only to your thoughts, but to your nervous system, your body, and the deeper patterns shaping your life.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. Together, we’ll gently notice where stress and trauma are still living in your system, and work at a pace that feels safe. You’ll learn how to regulate your nervous system, release stored tension, and rebuild trust in yourself and your intuition.

My vibe is grounded, relational, and collaborative. I’m not here to “fix” you, I’m here to help you reconnect with your own capacity to heal. When it feels aligned, I may also weave in spiritual or ceremonial elements to support a deeper sense of meaning and connection.

This is therapy for the times we’re living in — where insight alone often isn’t enough. It’s a space to come home to your body, gently reclaim the parts of you shaped by trauma, and cultivate a steady sense of inner safety and presence.

Somatic Therapy

You may notice that your body reacts before you even have words for what’s happening — a tightening in your chest, a knot in your stomach, or a feeling of being on edge for no clear reason.

Somatic therapy helps you gently listen to those signals instead of pushing past them. Together, we’ll track sensations, breath, and subtle shifts in your nervous system so your body can begin to complete what it’s been holding.

As your system unwinds, you may feel more grounded, more present, and more at home in yourself — not because you forced change, but because your body finally feels safe enough to let go.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy designed to help your brain and body process experiences that still feel stuck.

You might notice that certain memories still feel activating. Even if you know the event is over, your nervous system may still react as if it’s happening now.

Through EMDR, we gently work to reprocess those memories. Over time, what once felt overwhelming begins to feel less charged and more integrated, so you can remember what happened without your body going into survival mode.

Depression & Anxiety Treatment

Anxiety and depression don’t just live in your thoughts, they live in your nervous system. Maybe it feels like shallow breath, a constant sense of urgency, or a heaviness that makes it hard to get out of bed.

In our work together, you’ll learn how to notice what’s happening in your body in real time and develop tools to gently regulate your nervous system. We’ll also explore the deeper roots of these patterns, supporting healing that goes beyond managing symptoms and moves toward true resolution.
